Is Facebook Dying Out?

I ran across an interesting article last week. According to researchers at Princeton University, Facebook could lose 80% of its users by 2017.

The researchers used statistical data from Google (which probably leads many people to question their conclusions immediately given Google’s competing social network), and analyzed the information using theories on the spread of diseases (which seems humorous, and oddly appropriate).

Whether their research proves sound or not is yet to be seen, but if true?

Facebook’s demise is only three years away, and investors that poured billions into their IPO back in 2012 are going to be absolutely sick.

Time will tell.
