Friday Photos — Winter Scenes

I took a few quick photos yesterday morning, after a foggy winter morning had left frost covering everything. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a lot of time to play with the shots to get them perfect, so most of them didn’t turn out nearly as good as I had hoped. Using photoshop, I was able to bring out a bit more of what I was looking to capture in a couple of the shots.

As you can see from the following, even the frost itself was beautiful.

I really like the contrast of the one-way and yield signs with the frost and snow covered trees in the background. I like the message too, couched in terms of faith… there is one way to heaven… Jesus. To get there, we’ve got to yield our lives to Him.

Anyway, not the best photos I’ve ever taken. I wish I would have had more time to do a better job with these!

Those signs remind me of the U-Turn youth ministry created by James and Stacie Pierce. Young people are turning their lives around to go down that one way that leads to Christ.
