With Easter coming quickly, tradition (for whatever reasons) typically dictates that kids hunt Easter eggs.
Yeah, we’re suckers for that too.
The girls are still young enough that they enjoy the traditional hunt. Eggs hidden all over the yard in various locations, some obvious, some anything but. It’s fun regardless.
But Jeffrey, our oldest?
Well, he’s eleven. And egg hunts just aren’t nearly as cool.
Unless they’re like the one we held for him at my parents’ home this weekend.

Yes, I took about 20 eggs, and hid them along trails he rides.
All of a sudden, the idea was cool again.
He hopped in the Polaris RZR side-by-side my dad owns, got his “spotter” (his sister), and was off.
They both had a blast, as evidenced by the photos below.
I can’t say that I would see things any differently than him. Traditional egg hunts are a bit… blah. But when you incorporate off-road vehicles into anything?
