Psalm Tuesday again. Today we’re in chapters 15-17. Notes follow…
Psalm 15 (NIV)
1LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?2He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart3and has no slander on his tongue,
who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman,4who despises a vile man
but honors those who fear the LORD,
who keeps his oath
even when it hurts,5who lends his money without usury
and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things
will never be shaken.
This is such a powerful Psalm to me today that I can’t help but post the entire thing.
Who may dwell with God?
Seriously.
None of us are worthy. None of us deserve forgiveness. None of us can hope for the blessings of heaven on our own.
Yet God offers all of the above freely to those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and choose to follow Him.
Grace is truly amazing.
